Today I had a great coaching session with one of my clients. It was emotional as we are creating a breakthrough for him for sure. I have given him some time management tips that are helping him with his life, his goals, his business … and in creating the lifestyle he wants and deserves.

Here are the time management tips of the highly successful – part 2 (4-7)
4) Before beginning any task or project, “ask yourself, what is the outcome or end result I seek”? This I shared with my friend and coaching client this morning. It kinda stopped him in his tracks. We were talking about a side project that he was excited about. It was a type of marketing strategy that when done right could potentially have made him a lot of money. When done wrong it could potentially have taken a lot of time. So I asked him, what is the end result you seek? He wasn’t sure. That’s when we went a little deeper. So knowing the end result, will help you prioritize your activities. This is one of my favorite time management tips.
5) This next one of the time management tips, he actually taught me. He had just come back from a personal development work shop, and one of the trainers taught that you can’t manage time. You can only manage your activities in time. WOW. That one really landed for me. We all get the same amount of time, its what we do in that time that makes all the difference. Prioritizing our activities in time is one of the best time management tips I have heard in a long time
6) Schedule your way to success. This one I learned yesterday. I did a BLAB on time management tips and my good friend Tim showed up on the BLAB. He said he had to teach himself how to go from super unorganized to super organized. He said his calendar has changed everything for him. Every meeting, every activity, all the important ones anyway… must be scheduled. This is a game changer. Schedule your IPA’s (your income producing activities) and … watch the magic happen.
7) Take the first 30 minutes of every day to plan your day. Don’t start your day until you complete your time plan. The most important time of your day is the time you schedule to schedule time.
