Glenn Morshower – Motivational Speaker Inspiring Beyond Belief

Glenn Morshower

Glenn Morshower

Glenn Morshower is a big screen, small screen, and behind-the-scenes personality that I’ve “met” during my TV and movie-watching life. Little did I know, however, what was in store for me from Glenn Morshower from the stage!
Last Wednesday I touched down from JFK into LAX for a five-day training course called Craig Duswalt’s Rockstar Marketing Bootcamp. Craig’s course delivers more information about branding yourself offline and online as well as some of the best entertainment that I have ever seen or heard at any of these marathon events. Starting at 8:30 every morning and running until 11pm or later each day was exhausting for me. I can only imagine what it would be like to be Craig up there talking and hosting the entire event. He is amazing.

Among the event’s talent was Glenn Morshower

Some of the talent that appeared and put on spectacular shows for the crowd of 300 extremely enthusiastic people were Eddie Money, Gilby Clarke from Guns’N’Roses and his extremely talented and entrepreneurial wife Daniella – founder of Frankie B jeans, Mike Rayburn – guitarist/comedian extraordinaire, and Glenn Morshower. For those of you who do not know the name Glenn Morshower, just plug it into Google and go to IMDB to see the extensive list of TV shows and movies he has been in. Once you see his picture you are going to say, “oh, him!” He started at about 9:30 on Saturday evening and the next thing that I knew it was going on 1am. He could have talked hours more, and I would have listened. His talk delivers inspiration beyond belief. He touched me deeply and then he had me laughing hysterically. I love this man! Needless to say, we shared a big hug afterward.
The iconic Glenn Morshower, usually playing the military general or sheriff, touched on many points in his inspirational performance, because I can’t call it anything less than that, and I want to touch on just one of the gems that he gave to all of us. This one is about the Four Rooms.

Glenn Morshower’s Four Rooms

  • Room One is Impossibility. When you live in this room, nothing is possible. It is a place where people hide and whither away. There is no success in anything while living in room one, Impossibility.
  • Room Two is Possibility. At this point the seeds of belief are planted and begin to grow. It is a place where hope comes into someone’s life. It is not a fully functional place to live, but it is the place to begin the journey to a higher place of living.
  • Room Three is Probability. This is where people live who believe in what they are doing in life and have faith that things will happen, but still lack conviction and essentially pray for things to happen. It is the room where people have laid out plans and are working toward achieving success, but aren’t yet living the success.
  • Room Four is Inevitability. This is the room where all of us should be living. As Glenn said when he opened up the evening, “Every single one of us beat out 600 MILLION competitors to be born to be here today (think about this…). We are all winners. We were born winners. We don’t need to learn how to be a winner, we just need to remember what it feels like!” This was profound in its message and is the basis of the total belief in ourselves that makes our dreams inevitable.

There was so much more that Glenn Morshower delivered in his deluge of ideas that deliver inspiration beyond belief that I will go into in other blog posts. As I am writing this I am chuckling thinking about the antics and jokes that he delivered from the stage. At one point he made a ‘funny face’ that had me howling until it was painful. He finally let us go to bed at about 12:45a, but it wasn’t nearly long enough. If I didn’t need the bio-break so badly, along with the sleep, I would have stayed up all night listening to Glenn Morshower. I love this man!

You really had a great information and a very inspiring words. I know that people will be amazed of these and challenge themselves. I believe too about the where Room Three is Probability. This is where people live who believe in what they are doing in life and have faith that things will happen, but still lack conviction and essentially pray for things to happen. It is the room where people have laid out plans and are working toward achieving success, but aren’t yet living the success. Very well said!
