What a year it was! So much to be thankful for, that’s for sure. What are you thankful for? Now that Christmas is long gone, and the New Years Ball has dropped – what are you excited most about for the new year: 2012?
If you get grounded in appreciation and gratitude for 2011, you will be better equipped for greatness in 2012.

Promoting your business in the new year!
What’s the story about freedom anyway? If everyone is so busy, how does your business fit into their life? Most people are busy being busy, with no end result in mind. When you introduce your business, they say they are too busy. Too busy doing what? They think it might be just another business, just another thing to add to their to-do list.
They are missing the big picture.
You can teach people that not only can they make money with your business, but they can build it in such a way that it gives them time freedom as well.
Wow! What a concept!
You can create income, without being tied to a desk. Do you know anyone with golden handcuffs? The more you lead with business, and the business potential, the more you will attract leaders. These leaders will build an organization for themselves, which inevitably pays you. J. Paul Getty, one of the wealthiest men of his time, said this, “I would rather have 1% of 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts”. So how do you create freedom? Just create more income than expenses… Is it that easy? Yes. It took me 10 months. Ten months of working my business 10-20 hours a week, ended up making me more money then selling advertising for 60 hours a week. Hmmmm. Maybe freedom is not your goal. Then what is?
How to prepare yourself for success in the new year…
Here are some things to think about for 2012.
In your future journal, the one you will live into, the one dated Dec 31, 2012, the one that starts “I am so thankful because …”. How does it read?
Try this on for size…
It is December 31, 2012.
I am so thankful because….
I am so happy because …
My weight is –
My income is –
My marriage is –
My business is –
My health is –
My hobbies are –
Can you see it? More importantly, can you feel it?
Once you have this, then make goals accordingly throughout the new year. Determine a cost to what you want, then divide it by your compensation plan’s units (in my business, we call them “cycles”), then make goals. After you do that, share your goals with your upline support team.
When it comes to income, I get paid in “cycles” right? So – here are some questions to think about:
How many cycles, per week, by Dec 31, 2012?
By your annual company meeting?
How many personal enrollments in January?
How many “Consultants” (or whatever your first level of achievement is)?
By when will you be “Star Consultant” (second level)?
By when will you be “Executive” (third level)?
How many “Executives” do you want to have with you at your annual meeting?
If you answer these questions, and you share them with your upline support team… then – you will hit them – right? Right!
