What you can do about Holiday Season Stress

Holiday Season Stress

Holiday Season Stress

Holiday season stress. That is what so many people feel starting around the middle of November all of the way through until January. The pressure can get ridiculous, but it is self-imposed most of the time. There are end-of-the-year deadlines that people struggle with at home and at work. Most employees would love to have the last couple of weeks of the year off, just to try to relax and not think about work-related stress, but many just end up with a few days of vacation left to deal with the holiday season stress.

Major Contributors to Holiday Season Stress

So what are the major contributors to creating this holiday season stress? The first and foremost is the pressure of the financial aspect of the season. Whatever your holiday may consist of it usually means exchanging gifts of some kind at this time of the year. Selecting, purchasing, wrapping and exchanging gifts is one of the most stress-producing rituals of the whole season. In our family, we take the approach of names in a hat, where each of us selects one person upon which we can lavish a grand total of twenty-five dollars. This has helped our twenty-plus member family breath much easier as the season progresses, and helps a lot in reducing the holiday season stress syndrome.
Another huge stress producing activity can be the family gatherings. Let’s face it, there aren’t a whole lot of families that I have ever heard about that have a full-time fantastic family dynamic. Our world would be a beautiful place if all families were accepting and offered unconditional mature love to everyone, but it just isn’t so. Too much rich food, too much alcohol, too many deserts; all of these things create a general discomfort that can amplify the family dynamics. Approaching these events with a willingness to forgive and forget for the sake of getting along is a great remedy for the personal soul. By taking this approach you relieve your own stress. It isn’t for the other family members, although it may rub off; but it becomes a personal release. There is no greater sense of comfort and well-being than being in a loving, nurturing, accepting family environment. This helps to dissolve the holiday season stress, instead of the anticipation of the battlefield!

Addressing Holiday Season Stress

There are ways to deal with the underlying causes of stress, many of which are physiological and come from the lack of nutrients that help your body to overcome the aging and disabling effects of stress. One of these is Ionix Supreme from Isagenix International, LLC. I call this the Nectar of Nutrition, because the liquid version is based on blackstrap molasses and it has a taste that lights up your senses like fine nectar. The stress-busting power of Ionix Supreme comes from the adaptagens that are included in the formulation. While you get the B-complex vitamins to help you with energy and relaxation, the adaptagens work to help you balance your level of energy to your situation. Try it after a large meal to help with digestion. Try it before bedtime to help with sleep. Try it in the morning to help raise your energy to face the oncoming day. It works in any situation to help you feel calmer, have more energy, and less stress. This is a great way to deal with holiday season stress, and a makes a great gift as well.
Enjoy your holiday season. It is meant to be a time of love, caring and sharing. It is ultimately what we personally make of it.

I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself. Whether it is physical or mental challenges, you should always be pushing yourself toward new limits. I recently decided that I am going to participate in a triathlon! I will be posting updates on my training along the way. I received a great piece of advice the other day that I think applies to every day life as well. Someone told me to not give up just because the training is difficult and to not let fear win. I am a firm believer that nothing in life should come too easy and that you will appreciate what you achieve more if you put in a lot of work to get there. What is your next goal? Make it something big. Really push yourself. I am more than willing to help you take control of your life and to reach your goal. Do you want to feel healthier? Do you want to be your own boss and make money from the comfort of your home? What are you waiting for? Aloe vera juice benefits us in many ways, and has done so for thousands of years. Recent studies support what has been "known" for years! While commonly known as a gel and for treating external issues such as skin burns, infections, and muscle and joint soreness, there are many more internal aloe vera juice benefits.
