How to Recruit People in Network Marketing – The Ultimate Recruiting Strategy
Hey, my name is Drew Berman from drewberman.com, and I teach entrepreneurs and network markets how to go from hobby income to professional income. Are you a network marketer that’s struggling to recruit new reps? Have you been around for a while and you are having trouble duplicating your team? Come back in a moment, and I’m going to give you the ultimate recruiting strategy.
All right, so here we are. We’re going to teach you this recruiting strategy that’s not only going to help you recruit more reps into your business, but it’s also going to teach you some strategies on how to team build and keep them longer. This is the ultimate recruiting strategy. It’s based on sports. Pick a sport. Your favorite sport. Let’s call this one baseball. You’re going to put on three hats while you’re building your network marketing empire.
The first hat is the hat of General Manger. If you were building any sports team, you as the General Manger, your job would be to recruit the best talent out there. The best possible players to be on your team. That’s what you’re doing for your network marketing business. Your focus is to recruit your power players who already does what we do for a living. Yes, you want to attract other network markets for sure, but who else do what we do for a living? What do we do for a living? We do phones. We do appointments. We do follow ups. We do commission. We do people development. You want to put on your General Manager hat. Who do you know is personal development? Who do you know that’s already in network marketing? Who do you know that sells insurance or mortgage or real estate agents? These are people that already have skills in what we do. Who’s an athlete? Who’s a black belt? Who do you know that’s played college sports? There are people you want to attract to your team because they already have a success profile.
The joke is if you wanted to create a basketball team, you wouldn’t go to a dentist convention. Stay with network marketing. Where are you finding network marketers? Where are you finding real estate agents? Where are you finding people who are good at social media or affiliate marketers or network marketers or entrepreneurs? You want to set up your radar to look for people who are already successful. Even if they’re successful in other professions. They’re successful teachers. They’re successful moms, mompreneurs. If you put on your GM hat and you ask questions like are you the type of person that keeps options open for additional streams of income, you’re going to, as the General Manager of your team, put together your dream team.
Now, at the same time, you’re going to be putting on your manager hat. Now, the manager hat is going to work together with the GM. You’re the GM. You’re recruiting, you’re recruiting, you’re recruiting, you’re recruiting. At the same time, you’re managing your team. You’re going to see who’s good at what. Who’s good at doing videos? Who’s good at recruiting? Who’s good at phones? Who’s good at home parties? Who’s good at planning events? Who’s good at logistics? Who’s good at customer service? Who’s loves the product on your team that wants to welcome all new product people on your team? Who’s great at setting up a Facebook page? Folks, you don’t have to do all. You’re just going to kind of piece it all together. That’s how you win the dream team. That’s what has allowed me to recruit 400 people in 10 years and grow an international team to over 15,000. Now, the third strategy, the third part of the strategy is you’re going to coach. This is what separates the good from the great in network marketing. Don’t try to coach everybody. You want to manage your whole team and see who’s thriving and work with the best. Then, you want to identify one or two or three but no more than five people on your team that you’re going to coach. These are people you’re going to roll up your sleeves with. These are people that you’re going to run with. These are people that you’re going to introduce to your up lying support team. These are people that you’re going to really, really focus on their goals, on their mind set, on their mission, on their vision. You’re going to teach them everything they need to know through your up lying support team, through our trainings and coachings.
