Learn, implement, teach: An important lesson on how to be successful

Throughout the first six weeks of my internship with Drew, I have learned so much about network marketing and how to make money online. One of the most important lessons I learned was that everything I do in my internship can be related to my every day life. I have received valuable information on how to be successful and learned to apply my training to my blogs and other aspects of my life, increasing my quality of life in the process.

Learn, implement, teach

Whenever you are learning something new, you should try to implement it into your life and then teach it to someone else. When you explain something you have learned, you are able to comprehend it on a deeper level and that piece of information is more likely to stick with you. I had never even heard of network marketing when I first met Drew, so throughout my blogging and training I attempted to implement the lessons I learned and then teach them to the readers of the blog.
I started my internship writing a post about being the best you that you can be in 2014. I wrote about goal setting, holding yourself accountable and balancing different parts of your life so you can be successful. It was the beginning of the year and I made clear goals and checkpoints to keep myself heading in the right direction.
Something I really wanted to work on was my writing, which is why I sought out this blogging internship in the first place. Challenging yourself and trying something that you are not comfortable with is a great way to improve your skills and become successful. Are you scared of blogging because you haven’t had much practice writing content before? The time to start is now. The only way to get good at something is to practice.
Another great lesson I learned is time management. I challenge all of you to take advantage of the hours we are given in a day. Whenever I used to wake up early for school and not be able to fall back asleep, I would waste time lying around or watching an episode of the latest TV show I was binging on. Now if I have extra time, I try to squeeze in some research or write a blog post.

I learned that anyone will be successful in the network marketing business if they are given the right tools. Reach out to the right people and you will be making money faster than you think.
I will continue to post reflections throughout my internship to share the lessons I am implementing in my every day life. Develop a clear goal and take action today.
