Mount Megunticook

Thank goodness I was able to fire my boss. It’s 11:23 am on a Thursday. I just finished an hour hike up Mount Megunticook, just north of Camden, Maine on the shores of Penobscot Bay. Normally you can see for miles into ocean, ships, islands, and more. Today – only cloud and fog, but just as exhilarating. I am on the highest mainland mountain on the Atlantic coast. I am blogging from 1385 feet. Off to meet my bride and son for lunch in picturesque Camden. Perhaps I will have lobster – again. This sure beats having a desk job.
