We’re talking about leads again. Heck, they’re your bread and butter, right? Well, as you may or may not know, I spent some time at the “No Excuses Summit” in beautiful Las Vegas recently and I came back with loads of video. So much video that it’s taking me some time to organize it. Yep, I’m human too! I want to give you the best of the best here but here’s an intro – before the event even started – about lead conversion.
Keep in mind that it doesn’t matter whether you’re talking offline or online conversion. Whether you’re meeting someone at the bank or local chamber of commerce networking event or finding someone with a similar mindset and interests in a group in Facebook, the process is all the same. That’s the magic in taking something that’s seemingly complex and boiling it down into steps. Follow the lead conversion steps and you’re golden. Now, I don’t usually do this but I shot another video at the same time, continuing on the offline and online conversion and lead conversion topics. Again, it should never matter whether you’re online of offline (hint – you should never act or pretend to be anything other than who you are both online or offline) so this training applies everywhere.
Anyway, focusing on the earlier steps of the process laid out in the above video, having the language is key. Improvising and stammering when you first meet someone is a turnoff. We all know that, whether we’re on the sending or receiving side of an uncomfortable conversation. So practice! Get your language direct and concise, smooth and effortless. In this video, I give you some very simple tips and actual language for overcoming these initial stages of the process. Oh, technically this is called Permission Marketing.
