When a person asks me what I do for a living, it has now become a sort of prediction game that I like to play in my head. The reason being is because the questions are usually all the same and I try to predict which one of (what I like to call) “The Typicals” will be asked first. For example, one of the main questions that people ask me when I tell them that I am in the profession of network marketing is “Can you really make any money in that field?” The answer is yes! However, just like with any other profession, it takes a lot of time, dedication, patience, learning, and trial and error. Once this stage gets rolling, a person will begin to make progression towards paychecks and earn money in the network marketing profession. 

There is always the greatest sense of accomplishment in doing what one is passionate about and if network marketing is that passion, then everything will eventually work itself out. For example, I struggled in the profession of network marketing for five years before things got any better. Don’t believe me? Let me tell you a little story:

I got into the business of network marketing in 2009 and went broke so fast you would have thought I was a first year college student. I was training myself, reading up on the profession, attending meetings with coaches and other experts but nothing seemed to be working out. Eventually, things got so financially suck-ish that a network marketing intervention was staged on my behalf. Needless to say, shortly after, I quit and went back to advertising. Obviously, this very brief temper tantrum towards network marketing did not last very long and I tried again under the niche of health and wellness. Fortunately, this worked out and things began to get better once I found my place in the network marketing field. I began to make my own progression towards paychecks and started getting money in network marketing.

Looking back on it now, one of the things that I was very glad that I did was learn and teach myself about network marketing during the process of my failures.

This came in handy due to the fact that I was building knowledge that I would need if I were to ever attempt to get back into marketing again. The most important thing to keep in mind when going through any rough patch is just to keep your eye on the prize and grow with each failure. Growth is such an essential piece of the network marketing profession that often gets overlooked by some who are new to it. For example, a person cannot simply try to get into the field of network marketing and expect the dollar signs to just come rolling in. One has to fail several times over before becoming a success and getting money in network marketing.
At a Rockstar Marketing event I recently went to for five days there were several people in attendance who were connected to the network marketing profession in some way or another. One of these people included Craig Dustwalt who toured with Guns N’ Roses and was the assistant manager of Axel Rose! What are the chances right? This just goes to show that even the most unlikely of people can be successful in the network marketing profession. A person can go from making a small amount of income or basically no income to making five or six figures a month. It just takes a lot of patience and one has to be willing to learn the ropes. A person also has to have the patience to learn consistently because things are always changing and evolving quickly in the field of network marketing. Since most marketing is done through technology and new creations and shortcuts are always being made, the learning process is never ending.
