The Security Myth
That is a myth, just like the sun revolved around the earth was a myth. Funny, in The Dark Ages, you would be put to death if you claimed otherwise, and even in today’s ever changing world of careers, you will still be ridiculed and scoffed at if you preach anything other than this Kool Aid drinking fallacy that a job is secure.
Now, enter true security. True security is created in residual income, commissions, spiffs, bonuses and a lifestyle that allows true financial freedom. You see, residual income is a power unto its own, you do the work once and get paid for it for the rest of your life. Commissions allow you to get paid what you are worth, not what someone else says you are worth. Bonuses, spiffs, trips, incentives, those are all associated with performance based incomes, not “secure” time clock based incomes.
However, the challenge to the security of residual and commission based incomes is that you are your own boss and it is up to you to manage your time. This can be quite challenging and explains why these careers are occupied by those that take the road less traveled. But, this road was traveled by men and women of tremendous wealth because true secure incomes are limitless and are not determined by what the market says you are worth. Individuals like Elizabeth Taylor, Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Andrew Carnegie, Michael Jordan, Martha Stewart, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are those that have traveled the true road to security and never considered the myth of get a good job and stay put.
Yes, it is a risk filled road, but consider this… look at the amount of senior citizens living below the poverty level, working at McDonald’s, Wal Mart, on food stamps, living with their children and grandchildren. They bought the myth, but here’s the beauty of residual income and commissioned opportunities, it’s never too late to get started and make an incredible life for yourself! Get started today, what are you waiting for?

Best to you!
