  1. Connect Most network marketers are focused on prospecting. If you are new to the game or you have been struggling, prospecting may be uncomfortable. Often times people who are new to sales and marketing and especially network marketing don’t know how to prospect. Let’s focus on connecting, and possibly collaborating.

    One of my team leaders was so dreadfully scared of Prospecting that she would never do it. The mere concept of cold calling absolutely terrified her. So, she sent warm emails. Isn’t that brilliant? She sent warm emails, connected, looked for potential collaboration. Then she made the appointment.

  2. Make an appointment Networkers will improve their business 90% just by making appointments. Schedule a time, preferable with a start time and a finish time, that you can reconnect and share your business or your opportunity. This sounds simple to some, and perhaps a review, perhaps so obvious that you cant even believe I am taking the time to write about. To others, this is so profound. They are not used to making appointments. They weren’t taught how to make appointments in their previous endeavors. So they (V V) verbally vomit on their prospects.

    Imagine someone literally standing in front of you and vomiting all over your shoes. That’s what inexperienced network marketers do. And its quite sad actually. They think they are doing the right thing by telling their prospect everything there is to know about the company and the product and the super berry imported from the Himalayas and how to get rich and BLAH BLAH BLAH V V all over the prospects shoes. Sorry Charlie.. ain’t nobody got time for that.

    Sounds simple right? I had one woman on my team for years, … That’s right – years. She said she had a list. She said she had people on the list. But she was petrified about calling them. I asked her who was the most successful person on her list … It was Dr Norman. Head of something important in the hospital. I was introducing him to our health and wellness company – a solutions based company that focuses on weight loss, fitness and anti aging. He couldn’t believe I called because he had been wanting to drop some weight, the timing was right … And he enrolled on the first phone call. BOOM! Love the Dr Norman story…. Lesson?
