The Art of the Follow Up in Network MarketingI love network marketing; I’ve been in the business for years and it’s been nothing but great for me. I’ve been able to achieve financial freedom and have the experiences of a life time — I’ve traveled and met some amazing folks in a short amount of time. I believe that it can truly help anyone change their lives, if they really want to. But, I do know that it can seem daunting to some people. It’s not for the faint of heart and there will be some challenges.
 
 
Most of you have probably experienced a similar situation: your online content is doing great, you’re generating lots of leads, but you still can’t turn those leads into sales. You start to think, “What’s wrong with me?” There’s nothing wrong with you I promise! There’s just one aspect mission from that equation and it’s something that a lot of people forget to think about…

Being successful in the world of network marketing requires more than just lead generation, you have to be able to successfully follow up in order to make cold hard cash!

 
Following up with potential customers helps to confirm to this person that you are serious about helping them become successful. Show them their dream, let them know that this dream can become a reality. In any business, it can be hard to crack the shell of a lead, but by following up, you’re showing them that they are more than just a number. As I’ve told you before, teaching is key in this business… by informing a lead about the value you can provide to them, you are more likely to make a sale. Plain and simple.

Make sure you’re consistent with your follow up!

 
I would definitely recommend doing it in two days… three days at the maximum. Otherwise, your message can be lost and even forgotten. People are busy and aren’t going to wait around for you. You can make an appointment with them yourself or have another member of your team do it if possible. But, I would try to contact someone yourself and give it a personal touch. By making that person feel as if they’re your friend and part of the team… the more they will begin to see you as their teacher and trust what you’re saying.
