What’s up peeps! This is Drew Berman coming back at you this week with some Philosophy knowledge and how it can be used in the field of network marketing.
Now I know what you may be thinking, how can Philosophy possibly relate to network marketing in any sort of way, shape, or form? Let me tell you, Philosophy can be used in almost everything you do in life (and I do mean everything). So why not network marketing?
Therefore today, I am going to be giving you a little Philosophy lesson on an old “New Thought” ideal called The Law of Attraction.
The ideal is a very simple notion and all it means is that you attract whatever you focus on: meaning that if you focus on positivity, you will attract positivity into your life and vice versa.
Since rejection and critiques are such a large part of most businesses it would be far too easy for a person to sulk in the negative aspects of it. Therefore the hard part is remaining positive in what ever field you go into and prepare yourself for the harshness of the negative realities you may face.
Here are some of the steps I have for network marketers in order to implement The Law of Attraction:
1. Find out who your ideal associates are.
This helps with surrounding yourself with people you would like to work with and the kinds of goals that you would like to have in common with these specific people. These common goals will help to assist you with radiating off a positive energy and common goal which will help you to attract those with positive energy towards reaching it.
2. Where are your ideal associates?
Literally putting yourself into the environment that would normally house your potential associates will place you into an environment that is radiating the kind of energy you wish to attract.
3. What makes your ideal associates tick?
As I mentioned before, it is helpful to have a common goal with your potential associates because it helps to promote your attraction of positive ideals. Therefore, knowing the likes and dislikes of potential associates gets all of the surprises off the table and both of you can see the others interests and dislikes so there is no clashing later on.
4. And last but not least, What do you have to do, change, or improve to attract more of them.
Let’s say for example that you are the negative Nancy in this particular situation but by some stroke of good luck you have attracted halfway decent associates. Just like the old cliche goes, it’s not you, it’s me. You need to take a step back and re-evaluate yourself and try to be fair to your associates otherwise they may begin to exhibit you negativity.
