Time Management 168 – Part III

Time Management 168 MLM To Do ListLet’s break this down even further and focus this portion of the series on building an Multi Level Marketing empire. First, before anything else, write down all the tasks you think it will take to build that empire. The list should look very similar to this…

  • Create a chicken list (first people to see list)
  • Ad all phone numbers and email addresses to the chicken list
  • Order sample kit
  • Set up website
  • Open my back office on the website
  • Post my business website to Facebook
  • Post my business website to Twitter
  • Post my business website to Linkedin
  • Order business cards
  • Schedule three way calls with upline
  • Call chicken list

Does this look familiar? Of course it does, it is similar, if not exactly what to expect out of a task list for a new Multi Level Marketing consultant. Now let’s take the same MLM getting started list and assign times to each task.

  • Create a chicken list (first people to see list) – on going, but initial list 30 minutes
  • Ad all phone numbers and email addresses to the chicken list – 1 hour
  • Order sample kit – 5 minutes
  • Set up website – 10 minutes
  • Open my back office on the website – 5 minutes
  • Post my business website to Facebook – 1 minute
  • Post my business website to Twitter – 1 minute
  • Post my business website to Linkedin – 1 minute
  • Order business cards – 5 minutes
  • Schedule three way calls with upline – 30 minutes
  • Call chicken list – 3 hours

Total Time – 5 hours and 28 minutes
Considering that this is your initial task list to get started in building your Multi Level Marketing empire, the time commitment is really a non issue. According to the first two pieces in this series, we have determined that after removing sleep and work from your schedule, we have an average of 11 hours a day worth of time to complete all of the other duties we have in life. So, a 5.5 hour commitment is only half of your 11 hours of free time. After this, the time commitment drops considerably. What does an ongoing Multi Level Marketing consultant’s to do list look like?
Continue building first people to see list – 3-5 minutes
Schedule calls with upline – 10-15 minutes
Make calls to new prospects – 30 minutes
Update statuses to build business – 5 minutes
Your remaining time commitment is less than an hour a day, 55 minutes max! So get started, and get started now! Your success in the Multi Level Marketing world is determined by your level of commitment which in turn is controlled by your time management. I will leave you with this… do today what others won’t, so you can do tomorrow what others can’t!
Words to live by!
Best to you!
