Having wealth and creating wealth starts with having a wealthy mindset. Are you an earner or an owner? If you are an earner, and you have a J.O.B, then you are one of the lucky ones that at least has a job. Whether you love your job or not, it’s a means to an end. Even if you work for someone else, do you have a wealthy mindset?
Is this the “Wealthy Mindset” to which you’re accustomed?
Do you focus on profits, do you focus on revenue? Or do you just get a paycheck? I had dinner with one of my childhood friends the other day and he was telling me about his day to day. Pretty much it’s get up, go to work, come home, watch TV, go to sleep and wake up and do it all again. Some kids activities on the weekend sprinkled in with some errands and that’s about it. It didn’t seem like he had a wealthy mindset.
I’ve been involved in Personal Development for over a decade now. I’m really thankful that I read books about residual and passive income. I’ve learned some wealthy mindset secrets along the way: Beliefs create thoughts. Thoughts create words. Words create actions. Your inner game creates your outer game. If you look in you wallet and it is empty, do you think “I can’t afford it” or if your wallet is empty do you think “how can I afford it”?
How would a wealthy mindset benefit you? Is there a charity you want to support? Would you like to go to the Super Bowl? Do you want the finer things in life?
3 Wealthy Mindset Secrets
- If you focus on what you have, you will get more of what you have. If you focus on what you want, you will get more of what you want. Learn to live in prepare, not in repair. By focusing on your future, and all that you want in life, you will attract more to you.
- If you live like a lawyer, while you are in law school; then you will live like a law student when you are a lawyer. This means work hard, save money, play hard too. But first create the income, provide for you and your family, then enjoy yourself.
- Focus on the five factors of financial freedom – 1) working income 2) passive income 3) savings 4) investments 5) simplify
